Biography
Born and raised in Eastern Europe and no stranger to alternative culture, Sam Gino is a multi-faceted British-Bulgarian electronic music DJ with a diversified taste between deep house, indie dance, melodic techno, breakbeats and afro rhythms. He draws inspiration from dark analog electronica, acid beats, ethnic synth lines merged with pulsating high energy melodic percussions and sketchy breaks.
Sam Gino has played with international names such as Massano, Øostil, Unders and others alongside regional artists in small scale festivals such as Kube event, The Projection Experience etc. He has managed to make a mark and put himself on the radar as one of the most enticing and prominent upcoming artists within the emerging underground music scene by introducing sounds that are not yet widely spread in the region, as featured in Bahrain Confidential.
Since his debut behind the decks in 2016, Sam Gino has been a resident to some of the most prestigious lounges and bars in Bahrain such as Movenpick, Art Rotana, Circa, Halo and others.
He is currently co-hosting bi-weekly house and techno events (Project VOID) across various venues around Bahrain, while being a regular Euphoria guest DJ at Calexico. He is also performing regularly at Melodia On Time in London, UK while running the DJ collective GoodFellas.
His weekly radio show at Ibiza Underground Radio broadcasts every Friday at 4pm CET
